what computer certifications or classes can i take at a junior college that will help land a job?
my local jc offers cisco networking certification, and some other computer classes, i am interested in web page design. what classes or certifications are highly valued in the work force?
Definitely take CISCO (it's the human network!). I also highly suggest a typing class, even if you already know how to type, as it looks good on applications, and can make you a more efficient typist. Check to see if the college you are applying to has a Computer Science or Computer Engineering major.
I'm probably not very helpful (I majored in English, my husband Computer Science). Talk to your college counselor about what your plans are for your future, and they can give you a course schedule based on exactly where you want to work and exactly what you want to do.

ok, i want my college experience to be sociologically beneficial. i want to go to Cisco Junior College (if any of u knows where/what that is). i want to look at their nursing program, and they dont have a student nursing association or dorms!! can i still be social. will i make as many friends and be as close to them??
if any of u have been to CJC or the nursing program, could u give me some insight??
